The Agoo Civic Quest Application (hosted at quiz.betteragoo.org) is committed to protecting the privacy and personal data of all participants in compliance with Republic Act No. 10173, also known as the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (DPA).
1. Personal Data Collected
- Full Name / Display Name (used for leaderboard score display and personalized certificates)
- Gender (used for statistical demographic grouping)
- Date of Birth (DOB) (used for age-group validation)
- Email Address (used for score updates, deduplication, and personal best tracking)
- Quest Performance Metrics (score, accuracy percentage, time taken)
2. Public vs. Confidential Information
Publicly Visible on Hall of Champions: Player Name/Nickname, Gender, Score, Time Taken, and Division Badge.
STRICTLY CONFIDENTIAL: Email Address and Exact Date of Birth are securely stored in Cloudflare D1 and are NEVER publicly displayed, published, shared, or sold to third parties.
3. Purpose of Processing
Your information is collected solely to maintain the public Hall of Champions, update your high scores when you replay with the same email, and generate anonymous civic education participation statistics.
4. Right to Erasure & Deletion
Under R.A. 10173, you have the right to request complete erasure of your quest records, email address, and leaderboard entries at any time by contacting our Data Protection Officer at betteragoo@gmail.com.
